The Beautifying Effects of a Milk Bath for Your Skin

Pure milk in its natural form has been used for centuries as a beautifying skin ingredient. The key is the lactic acid found in milk which works as a gentle exfoliant to help dissolve dead skin cells buffing away flakiness to reveal a fresh layer of glowing skin.

The milk’s lactic acid is a form of natural alpha hydroxy acid (AHA). Unlike conventional products containing the AHA ingredients (normally 5 - 15% concentration) which may strip your skin and cause irritation and redness, the milk’s AHA is ultra gentle working to soothe, moisturise and exfoliate at the same time. The high fat content in milk means that it is excellent use for those with dry skin.
