Better to have acne on the back than the face, right? But wouldn’t it be even better to be acne free and have no acne at all.
Although back acne can be easily covered up with clothing, come summer time when the weather starts to heat up and you want to reveal a bit more skin, then wearing a singlet or a bikini can become rather embarrassing if you have a back full of dots.
The process to treat back acne is similar to that for treating the acne on your face. Cleanse, exfoliate, detoxify and hydrate. However, since there are more sebaceous glands in the back area and the skin is much thicker, back acne is more resistant to normal acne treatments and can be especially tough to treat. Back acne can take the form of pimples, blackheads, or whiteheads, but often they come as deep, painful cysts.
